Hi Everyone!
Yay!! I passed all three exams!
Each exam was 45 minutes in length and also had 45 questions. I first did my IC3 2005 Standard Computing Fundamentals. I got 867 out of 1000 (800 is a pass). I got 85% in computer hardware, 78% in computer software and 94% in operating systems. You had your choice as to which exam to do first. I chose this one because a) I studied the most on this subject b) I thought the content would be best for figuring out how the questions were asked and c) if it went well, I'd have a boost for the rest of the day.
Next was my IC3 2005 Standard Living Online exam. I got 933 out of 1000 (800 is a pass). I got 100% (yah!) in computers and society, 85% in electronic mail, 92% in internet and 100% (double yah!) on networks. I wasn't so nervous about this exam as I'm finally getting use to using the internet for everyday stuff. I was rather surprised at the mark though so it really gave me a lift.
My final exam was IC3 2005 Standard Key Applications. I got 778 out of 1000 (750 is a pass). I was nervous about this exam because I use these applications on a regular basis but most of my learning was on my own. If there's something I don't know, I just use "Help". I got 75% in Common Program Functions, 80% on Presentation Functions (a surprise!), 100% on Spreadsheet Functions (a huge surprise!) and 67% in Word Processing Functions (disappointing but the tasks they asked about were things I'd never done before and I can't see doing them in the future). Although I'm a bit disappointed with this mark, I was quite happy with the presentations section as I learned about PowerPoint without any classes - just the online training offered through MS's help website. I was shocked at the spreadsheet section as I found it difficult - I rarely use Excel.
I bounced all the way home and treated myself to pizza and wings.Anyways, I'm not in the mood for typing anymore - I just want to bounce some more!
Have a great day!
