Hi everyone!
It's a lovely 18 C outside which should break the record. Just finished lunch (and a lovely slice of Zuccotto). The weather suppose to turn nasty by the weekend so I'm trying to enjoy the sunshine while I can.
The dryer is fixed so I did a couple loads of laundry last night. To everyone who has a washer/dryer in your house - you are so lucky!
Don't really have any news today. I have a Townships meeting tonight down at Good Earth Cafe. They make wonder cranberry and apple cidar with whipped cream and caramel sauce (like Starbucks but cheaper). Received a photo of my new sponsor child. Mariama is nine year old girl from Ghana (Africa). She's in grade 1 and her chore at home is cooking. I can't imagine being her age and having this as a chore. I remember being a few years older than her and making a family candle-lit dinner of hotdogs.
It turns out that all the construction on my street is a city project. They're putting in a rain water overflow reservoir (I think this is what's it's called) under my street. I have yet to figure out why they would put this on top of a hill.
Anyways, I'm not in the mood to type. Have a great day!
