TGIF

Hi Everyone!

Getting my hair cut today. I'm rather excited - think Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby and you'll have an idea of my soon-to-be haircut.

Wednesday was Sylvia's birthday so after work we (co-workers) went for Japanese. This was a new restaurant for me and they sat us around a grill and the chef prepared the food in front of us. It was really good (although I didn't find it very filling) and the chef was very entertaining.

I've decided that tomorrow I'm going to the mall. I know this seems like an odd statement but usually if I need to go shopping, I'll go to Signal Hill (area of stores beside each other but you have to go outside to get to the next one) or Westbrooke Mall (very small but it has a Walmart). I'm going to visit Chinook Centre (the largest mall in Calgary). My income tax came in so I'm going to buy a new outfit. No big splurge or anything like that but it's been a year since I've been to Chinook and almost the same amount of time since I've been to a mall to browse. Usually, I have a list of things to get and I'm in and out, without browsing and people watching. I'm going to walk there (1 1/2 hours) so hopefully that will make up for the 3 krispy kremes I've eaten so far today (Lori brought them in for me). I can spend the day enjoying myself (with no time limit) and I think I'll go see a movie as well.
