Mama's already a nervous wreck

Hi Everyone!

Mike goes to the clinic today. I'm already a bit nervous (after all, he doesn't understand why this is happening) and I likely will be until I pick him up tomorrow. Will he think I'm abandoning him? Will he have a lovely sleep-over? Will he be lonely? Will his mouth hurt a lot after the cleaning (very likely)? Will he understand what is happening? Will he be terrified of the cat carrier in the future? Will this just be another day?

I'll sleep terribly tonight without him (as per usual when he's out in the livingroom or I'm on vacation). I might bring Whiskers in so I can sleep!

Finished tidying up the apartment. It's neat, but still looks lived in. Mike's in my bedroom for the inspection (what a day he'll have) and Whiskers is angry that she wasn't let out last night.

Mike's dvd arrived last night. It's a special video made especially for cats. A company in the UK designed it with colour filters and a lens focus to make it suitable for a cat's eyes and they adjusted the sound as well. It's a video of bugs that has a two hour repeat and is continuous play. Mike rather enjoyed it and spent his time swatting at spiders and moths. The bugs looked fuzzy to me (out of focus?) but then again, I don't have cat eyes. If he still likes it after a month, I'll also buy the bird dvd.

Have a great day!
