TGIF

Hi Everyone!

Woke up this morning at the same time I usually try to leave the apartment for work. Luckily I had almost everything ready last night so after a bit of running, I was still able to get to work on time.

Still have a cough. It's no longer a dry cough but I'm still not sure of the cause. Driving me crazy although Mike did spend the night.

Have my paint choices. I'd love them to be brighter/bolder colours but I can deal with the management's request. If you're interested, I'm using Debbie Travis paints on the walls - Nearly Nude CM31L in the livingroom, hallway and bedroom and Soya Bean CM30K in the kitchen and bathroom. The trim/doors will be CIL Almond Wisp C14. Still deciding if the kitchen cupboards will be white or almond. I'll know better when I have the walls painted. I'm also painting the ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen, not sure about my bedroom. I don't think I'll do the livingroom/hall because it'd be a lot of work and there's a bit of water damage from before I moved in and uneveness that I don't think I could repair anyways. I'll just use a white for the ceiling. It'll be a bit of work getting the walls prepped for painting - I have my suspicions that it's actually primer on my walls, not paint. The previous morons didn't sand anything, fills were uneven, paint bristles were left, bolts, hinges etc were painted and the thickness was uneven. I'll TSP everything and sand/fill it properly. After all, if you're going to go through the effort of painting, you'd better do it right.
