Hi Everyone!
It's a winter wonderland outside! I should clarify in that there is snow on the ground and there's still a few flakes drifting down from the sky. It's pretty sad that I'm excited about 1" of snow on the ground and there were fluffy flakes falling when I was walking to work. Roads were terrible and several people at work ended up taking over 3 times as long to get to work. My walk was o'kay although there were a few slippery spots.
Spent all last night reading Memoirs of a Geisha. This stupid book kept me up until 1:30am. I decided to take it easy last night so I drew a bath and started reading. I kept reading through American Idol (and 10 pm - the time I wanted to go to bed), the news (and 11:30 - past my bedtime) and a bunch of late-night talk shows that I ignored. I really enjoyed the way it was written (first person, as if the character was chatting with you) and it was very discriptive. I still want to see the movie for the costumes but storywise I don't think it'll be all that interesting. My boss has already seen it and he said it was long and uninteresting. An excellent book but not all great books make great movies (and vice versa).
Am very tired today. Have Bethel class tonight. I think I'll also finish painting my bathroom (2nd coat of primer) so I can start getting my apartment back to normal (at least until I start the next room!)
Have a great day!
