A Happy Tuesday

Hello Everyone!

It was a lovely walk to work and the sun is shining. It's a bit cool but should warm up by the afternoon.

Had a lovely weekend. My experience at the spa was great. The mini facial lasted for over half an hour and was very, very relaxing. I then had my eyebrows waxed and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. She applied the wax in very small amounts in areas where the hair needed to be removed. She made it look very natural and told me she didn't want to take too much off - it would be too shocking for me. I'm very pleased with the results. It makes my eyes look bigger.

I spent the weekend tidying the apartment. I didn't put any pressure on myself to get everything done so although I have a few things to do tonight, it was overall more relaxing.

My glads are about to bloom! The ones in the west flowerbed have buds that are just starting to open. I think I planted the east flowerbed ones too deep as they don't have their buds yet. They should be very pretty.

Got Mike a new feather toy and some tasty twigs for the naughty ones on Sunday. Whiskers was being very helpful last night. I was sweeping the floor and she hopped beside me (in the dirt). She followed me all over - what a sweetie!

Watched Canadian Idol last night and was quite impressed with Cindi Lauper's advice. Liked some of the performances (very different than a lot in the past). Some pretty wild outfits (and eye makeup).
