I owe, I owe, It's off to work I go...

Hello Everyone,

So, I did my taxes on the weekend and I owe the government $87.

So, it's not much but it's the first time I'm not getting money back. I didn't take as many school courses as expected so my TD1 amounts were off. This year, I didn't write any school deductions on it so it should be balanced out. As well, I didn't qualify for the GST credit. It was a nice break every 3 months to check your account and see a little bit extra.

I knew I was going to be close - either a really small return or owing a small amount. It caused a bit of panic though when I first entered my income and it told me I owed over $2000. Thank goodness for all those deductions.

So, a good weekend. Spent it at home relaxing. Jerry came over on Saturday and we watched movies. Spent Sunday cross-stitching. My neck's a bit sore but it was relaxing. Jerry's best friend's wife is expecting very shortly and I'm working on a baby afghan. It's got teddy bears and balloons stitched on it. I got considerably delayed starting it so it'll be a rush over the next 2 weeks.
