Family Visit

Hello Everyone, Mom & Dad left yesterday to return to Ontario after a two week visit. It was a lovely visit and the weather was great. Tuesday - They arrived! Wednesday - Brought the folks to work for a visit, walked through downtown, visited newly opened Devonian Gardens Thursday - Big Hills Springs provincial park for a picnic, ice-cream at Cochrane Friday - Sent the folks to Castle Mountain. Jerry & I headed to Banff Saturday - Jerry completed the Gran Fondo in Banff (said it was an amazing time). Mom & Dad visited Waterton National Park Sunday - had a bbq with Jerry's mom at the trailer near Fort MacLeod Monday - Relaxing day Tuesday - Ikea! Wednesday - Hike at Ptarmigan Cirque (by Highwood Pass - the highest pass in Canada accessible by car) Thursday - I had school orientation so the folks went to Elbow Lake and Kananaskis Lakes Friday - took the folks to Bass Pro and then we all went on a double date - Chuck E Cheese and a movie lol Saturday - went to the Calgary Highland games. I thought it was a poorly planned event but it was my first time. Took the folks to MEC. Sunday - took Dad up Ha Ling peak (his first proper scramble)and then we all went for Vietnamese Monday - Mom & Dad left :-( We had fun playing rummole in the evening and it was funny watching mom spoil the furry family with treats.
