Hello Everyone,
We saw the new Star Trek movie last night (Jerry's a trekkie) and it was quite good. I watched my first original series tv episode Saturday night and have only watched a couple of the original movies. I was still able to follow it with no problem. You don't have to have any background but there are some inside jokes. Very fast paced, lots of action/special effects. Acting & dialogue was typical Star Trek but that's the fun of it.
So, I recommend going to see it.
