It's Friday!

Hello everyone,

It's been a long week and I'm glad it's almost over. Busy at work. I come in tomorrow to start new training as I'm taking over a salaried (small) payroll and learning about share purchases. It should be good and the extra OT money will be nice.

Cooking spicy salmon for Jerry tonight. This is the 2nd last weekend of snowboarding for the season so I lose him for the weekend.

Just got my brows done. It's so much easier having someone else reshape them rather than plucking them myself. True, I do maintenance on them but I think it's still well worth the money. I find it gives your face a more refined look and more interest.

My hair is driving me crazy. Jerry wanted me to grow it out and since it's just dead skin cells, I said I was willing to grow it to shoulder length. Boys are silly - it apparently is so when you have a pony tail, you can slide out the elastic and have your hair cascade down. And he knows he's paying for my haircut when I do get it chopped off. I prefer short hair - I think it looks better on me. So, I've got another 2 inches to go which means I have to be patient until fall. I've gotten bored with an all-over colour (semi-permanent so it fades in a month) so I think for a birthday treat, I'll get some type of highlights. On the plus, it's long enough to pull the top section into an elastic and if I use enough product, I can do a full pony tail. This will be good for summer outdoorsy activities. And yes, I can decide at any time to just chop it off but since I don't expect to have long hair again, I thought I'd indulge Jerry.
