Hello Everyone,
I've joined the 21st century and now have a smart phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant and it's with Virgin. I've been with Rogers for over a dozen years now and I haven't been happy with their phone prices or their plans. So, I'm giving them a shot.
So far, I've been able to make a phone call (by fumbling on the screen until I saw a green phone) to Jerry and was able to add him to my contacts. This will be a big transition for me as I didn't use the features on my old phone and this is my first touch screen phone.
The new phone number is 403-827-7179.
I think her name is Sammy.

It took me a few weeks to be really comfortable with my phone, but I'm definitely in love with it.
I have my privacy settings set to no for "Add your blog to our listings" and "Let search engines find your blog". I'm sure it's still fallible but it would take a bit of effort.
I needed to balance privacy with "How do I let people know my new number?"
What I find scary is the information listed on phone company websites. If you have a land line with them, they'll list your full name, street address and phone number.(and why I contacted them when I was with them to make sure my name was Henry Halliday and there was no address). And then there are people who put all this on Facebook!
True point. I don't get people who just lay it all out there. Heck, I feel bad using my boys real names! :P
